Plan of Service The Onondaga Cortland Madison BOCES School Library System is a consortium of professionals and staff who provide vision, leadership and services to the educational community. We continue to focus on excellence in providing access to information, sharing resources and ideas, and developing life-long learners.

Online Union Resource Sharing (O.U.R.S.) helps you find the library resources you need, no matter where they are located in the member libraries of the OCM BOCES School Library System. Interlibrary Loan requests must be processed through your school's Library Media Center.

Interlibrary Loan Program A multifaceted program of sharing a variety of resources.

Cooperative Collection Development Cooperation, coordination or sharing in the development and management of collections by two or more libraries making an agreement for that purpose.

Online Database Subscriptions The SLS provides direct access to remote electronic information and instructional library resources including periodicals (many full text), newspapers, references and visual images to participating school libraries.  The SLS offers training in bibliographic instruction of online search strategies and technical support to library media personnel. These online resources allow staff and students access to timely and authoritative information on relevant topics that support the Learning Standards.
